I Dyed!

Good name for a return post, eh? So the first picture I have for you is some Tussah silk I dyed for my mom's Christmas gift with some help from Tara. She and I achived a perfect amethyst with only slight tonalities. And she has a super cute dog and some yellow-orange banana silk that y'all really ought to beg her to sell you. It looks just like the sunset.

And this beauty is a collaboration between me and Miss Babs that has been underway since the late Magknits was still in existance. Kerrie had approved my idea for another submission, and Miss Babs agreed to make my yarn in the color of my inspiration. A netmag closing and a picture of a girl's hair (seriously) later, and I now have a deal worked out for Miss Babs to publish and distribute the pattern and the perfect pink sock yarn. It's really much more complex than the picture shows. I just got the yarn, so the pattern may be awhile, but you should grab up some Sinderella sock yarn while you can. I have a feeling it won't take long to sell out!
